This weekend I did not go to the games - boo hoo.
But, I did perform the workouts minus the hill run - not so boo hoo.
While I did the 5 RFT 5x275 Deadlifts and 10 Burpees, my almost 3 year old daughter cheered me on. Afterwards she wanted to play with my stopwatch and I notice a little later that she was pushing the buttons to start/stop the timer putting on the ground beside her and then imitating my workout. My wife and I were in the kitchen and I quickly grabbed her to see what our Em was doing. She thought it was cute...I on the other hand was brought to tears. It sounds corny as hell, but I can only hope that by some grace of God, my CrossFitting rubs off onto my daughter and son, Ev, and they one day too become CrossFitters...


And then this video is posted on the main site today of 14 year old Kallista Pappas and I see my daughter in 11 or so years... or here's hoping atleast.
