Decided to try to max out shoulder press and push press since I havent done that for 9 weeks since my first day of crossfit.
My max shoulder press was a low 115 and max push press 140 9 weeks ago. After warming up very well I got up to 115 and failed 3 times in a row before moving on to push press very bitterly. I got a PR at 155lbs (first time I don't think mark let me max out 9 weeks ago). So i put the weight back to 115 and tried a shoulder press and got 115 tieing my PR from 9 weeks ago.
9 weeks ago I weighed 160lbs, I now weigh 165 and have done more shoulder and strength work then ever before. No I wasn't tired, yes i was motivated and feeling good.
Sorry for the rant. I was just very upset with my performance. Anyone have any idea why I have not improved?
